Ohhh, the mystery! The intrigue! The secret eating routines of the fashionable and famous people are technically secrets until they blabber about it to the news publications. Remember to support your favorite stars when they announce how hard it is to pass up that pepperoni pizza or that cupcake they saw at the store today. It takes courage, motivation, and dedication. It also probably takes a bunch of personal trainers, nutritionists, and doctors to make it all come together the way they make it look on those magazine covers. It was reported by the Morning Mash that Lady Gaga went on a drunk diet consisting of whiskey and stuff. Sounds like the breakfast of champions. Read on to see who is depriving themselves of McNuggets.
Vegan Diet: Beyonce went on a vegan diet and got drunk in love with healthy vegetables. She was Instagramming photos of vegan mac and cheese and portobello mushrooms for all of the world to see. She also snacked on peanut chocolate chip nirvana bars which sounds yummy and she also went on a fitness plan by a guy named Marco Borges. Borges is not related to the late Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges who had the same last name and was a literary master.
Ancient Grains Diet: Angelina Jolie raided the tombs for ancient artifacts in the movie Tomb Raider and now she is raiding the pantry for ancient grains in the latest celebrity diet. Supposedly, she snacks on quinoa, millet, chia seeds, spelt, and buckwheat. Spelt has selenium which is an ingredient in anti-dandruff shampoo! So the next time you reach for the Head and Shoulders shampoo at the corner store, remember Jolie and the secret of the ancient grains!
Sakara Diet: It was rumored that Lena Dunham, the mastermind behind the show “Girls,” was on the Sakara diet. For $410 a week, you can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner delivered to your home. Yes, that’s right. You can finally have somebody deliver a piece of oat break with almond butter and strawberry jam to your doorstep and wonder why it hasn’t been thought of before. The Sakara plan also includes food like kale salad with chia walnuts, artichoke fajitas, and granola with green goddess milk. Oh my goddess! They should rename it the green goddess diet.
Alkaline Diet: Posh Spice, also known as Victoria Beckham, is also known as that lady who many people would say absolutely does not need to be on a diet of any kind. So there’s this diet called the alkaline diet where you have to keep your body’s pH level between 7.35 and 7.45. It may as well be the swimming pool chlorine level diet. Fruits, veggies, and nuts are part of the diet while dairy, eggs, meat and packaged snacks are not. No more Pringles? That’s torture.
M-Plan Diet: Katy Perry’s going to get your heart racing in her skin-tight jeans as long as she eats enough mushrooms for her M-Plan diet. The goal is to replace a meal per day with a mushroom-based meal over 14 days. At least this diet lets you eat pork chops, fish, and eggs! Pizza places should get in on this diet too and have Katy star in mushroom pizza commercials with portobello hats on top of fungus dresses.
5-Factor Diet: Megan Fox must like to cook because the 5-Factor diet is no joke. It is “Hollywood’s Hottest Eating Plan,” according to author Harley Pasternak’s book. You have to have five meals a day with five ingredients each in five minutes tops. Ready! Set! Go! Cook until you see your life flashing before your eyes and that five minute timer counts down to 10 seconds. Five drops of sweat will crawl down five inches of your face as your order five pizzas because screw cooking.
Beaty-Detox Diet: Drew Barrymore ate mostly plant-based foods and drank a glowing green smoothie every morning for the beauty-detox diet. The diet was made by a woman named Kimberly Snyder who posted a pic on her Instagram of herself doing an upside down split in front of the Eiffel Tower. “Unleash your nutritional secrets unto me, oh majestic Eiffel Tower,” thought nobody in Paris while this pic was being taken.
Tracy Anderson Program: Jennifer Lopez has been associated with Tracy Anderson, the woman whose plan will forbid you to eat more than 1,000 calories a day. Also, get ready for a lot of pureed fruits and vegetables because that will be the highlight of a diet that has been claimed to be “extreme.” Extreme dieting will be in theaters and reality shows coming to a network near you. J-Lo is waiting for tonight when you will be here in her arms with solid food instead of green smoothies.
Fresh Diet: Christina Aguilera allegedly went on portion-controlled meals of The Fresh Diet which has strawberry pancakes (yes, please), mango pork loins (oh yeah), and key lime cheesecake (did you just say cheesecake?). Well you have to eat right when you’re Christina Aguilera and you’re pregnant with nude magazine covers waiting for you. Cha-ching! She’s got money in the bank because she is beautiful no matter what you say and words can’t bring her down.
Cabbage soup diet: It wasn’t enough to slay vampires in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” Sarah Michelle Gellar wanted to lose even more weight with a cabbage soup diet. Watch out, other veggies! Cabbage is making a comeback as the new cool kid on the block. But for seven days, Buffy? You can’t be serious. Day one: time to eat the cabbage soup. Day two: I think I’ll go for the soup which more cabbage in it. Day three: oh god just give me the chicken nuggets.
The Dukan Diet: Kate Middleton probably had enough of royal food on regal platters so she went on the Dukan Diet. There are phases to this diet which starts with protein, goes to veggies, and then goes to cheese and bread. So when somebody asked Kate, “Who cut the cheese?” She might have replied,” It certainly wasn’t me because that’s phase three and I ain’t there yet.” It’s like going on a culinary adventure with your emotions and your appetite except your health is on the line and there’s no going back once you’ve started a celebrity diet!
Macrobiotic diet: Madonna eats only “fish, grains, some kind of cooked vegetable and salad,” except for when she cheats on her diet with strawberry jam. Hold the phone! Spreading some delicious jam on a piece of crisp toast is cheating on the Madonna diet? It sounds like a rough road when you can’t even kick back with some Smucker’s and toasted bread. I’m with the Smuckers on this one.
Werewolf Diet: Beware the moon and the werewolves and the werewolf diet because these are all the things that people have been able to Google in relation to Demi Moore. When there’s a full moon, head to the nearest juicer and squeeze like there’s no tomorrow because it’s kind of sad that werewolves don’t really exist. That guy on True Blood doesn’t count because he’s not hairy enough and it takes more than starving during the full moon to get those biceps.
Express Home Meals Diet: From the Jersey Shore to the fact that she probably won’t be on the Situation’s new show, Snooki has remained somewhat relevant. Snooki just went on the Express Home Meals diet suggested by her trainer Anthony Michaels and lost 42 pounds. It’s just “proper nutrition,” according to their Facebook. There’s also a pic of Snooki posing with Dr.Oz so you know there’s some advertising money to be made.
The Drunk Diet: She’s on the right track, baby, she was possibly drinking whiskey this way! Said Gaga to the world, “I’m on the drunk diet. I like to drink whiskey and stuff while I’m working and I work out hung over if I’m hung over.” But don’t think we didn’t see you cook fried turkey on that Thanksgiving special while wearing that big hat, Gaga! The secret is whiskey, fried turkey, and killer pop songs.

Have you ever watched an old television series or movie and wondered how the actress’ career turned out? There have been a lot of television reboots and reunions of series that I watched when I was in middle school and high school. I never got to experience “Grease” when it first hit theaters, but I remember watching it as a kid and absolutely falling in love. Like many young girls, I had the biggest crush on John Travolta and felt like I could relate to Sandy.
“Grease” was Newton-John’s most popular film, but she’s also known for the cult-classic hit song “Let’s Get Physical.” Over the years, she’s done a lot of actor roles, and is still singing.
