Rev up the engines for some runway realness because you won’t believe which of your favorite celebrities used to be models. That is true unless you find it easy to believe that the famous person whose Twitter you check every five minutes had a life as a model before they hit the big screen. No judgement here! Pretty hurts according to Beyonce but then again, people like T.I. don’t want no “mediocre” either. They’ve got to use what their mamas told them to flaunt if they’ve got it and these celebs got just about everything in the looks department. Click ahead to see who was a cover model and may still be one.
Shailene Woodley was modeling at 4 years old. Then she got pregnant in the fictional universe of the show “Secret Life of the American Teenager.” It’s just so weird that it would be that big of a secret if your American teenager got pregnant. Maybe the baby bump is so tiny that they can conceal it under a lot of sweaters and the baby daddy isn’t telling all of his friends on Snapchat that he’s going to be the father of a little bundle of joy.
Hounsou became a model in Paris and met the famous French designer Thierry Mugler. His first movie was the movie “Stargate” in 1994 and he broke out in Steven Spielberg’s “Amistad.” This guy is so humble and wholesome that it’s only a matter of time before we see pictures of his beautiful wedding, beautiful wife, and beautiful kids. No scandal or drunken nights out on the town for you, eh, Djimon?
Rebecca Romijn, who played Mystique in the X-Men movies, is of Dutch, English, and Netherlandish descent. She modeled for Sport Illustrated, Victoria’s Secret, Maxim, FHM, and even modeled in Paris for two years. Maybe she saw Djimon there too. This seems to be a trend with models and Paris and possibly croissants. Those flaky delicious demons just haunt the soul and make you want to pack your things, kiss your loved ones goodbye and move to another country.
Milla Jovovich went from playing the part of that orange-haired “Fifth Element” girl to the zombie killer babe in “Resident Evil.” She was not even ten years old when she started modeling and she must have turned 17 at some point because she posed for the cover of Seventeen magazine. Jovovich was once photographed with retired Japanese soccer star Nakata. Could this mean there might be a soccer movie with zombies? Let’s call it “Bend It Like Bloodthirsty Zombies.”
Hey, Gossip Girl over there, peeking out at you from a disembodied voice. Taylor Momsen was signed as a Ford Model by her parents when she was two years old. All of that hard baby work must have paid off because she was a musician as well as an actress these days. It must be very confusing, nostalgic, and awkward to see pictures of yourself as a toddler in modeling pictures that are circulating in the Twitterverse.
Jennifer Lawrence was in an Abercrombie & Fitch ad before she got her Oscar. They should just photoshop her pictures with Katniss Everdeen from “The Hunger Games” and pull in all of the fans to buy those expensive sweatpants and t-shirts that everybody is wearing. Jennifer had to lay on a cold slab of a table in the last scene of the second Hunger Games movie and stare straight into the camera for at least 30 seconds. That is hard to do without blinking.
Kellan Lutz was also in an Abercrombie ad. Lutz was in Twilight but less people will remember him from the Hilary Duff music video for her hit song, “With Love.” Well, it was a hit if you listened to it everyday in your car. The theme of the video was to “do it with love” and not “come on way too strong” as Hilary Duff sprayed herself with her perfume and lured Kellan into an elevator. The cables in the elevator broke and they start to fall so this was an awkward video.
Channing Tatum must be the inspiration for strippers-turned-models-turned actors everywhere. Channing, Jennifer Lawrence, and Kellan Lutz could join together for an Abercrombie reunion and just start a revolution in the modeling world. No longer will they be just models-turned-actors. They’ll be model-turned-actor-turned-back-to-models. He was in all of those “Step Up” movies and now he gets to clown around with Jonah Hill in the “21 Jump Street” movie. Renaissance man!
Ian Somerhalder was a teenage model and prom must have been exciting for him. “Hi, I’m Ian and I’m a 17-year-old model. Will you go to the prom with me?” So there could have been a girl that said, “Oh you’re a model?…I’m sorry, I have prior engagements on that particular night so I can’t be bothered to talk to you.” There is no way that ever happened to Ian Somerhalder. His prom date could have been a former girlfriend of a Vampire Diaries star so she was missing out.
If only we could all catch the eye of a photographer on the beach to start our modeling careers. Sofia Vergara is living a modern life on the show “Modern Family.” She is the only Latina mother on the show and that is probably a lot of responsibility. You got to look good and make sure not to offend the critics. She escaped the turmoil in Colombia and took her mom, sister, and son with her to the states where she is now living it up with the werewolf from “True Blood.”
Robert Pattinson was a 12-year-old model and then went on the set of Harry Potter to take the world by storm. His modeling gigs decreased because he said something about being too masculine for them. Well, you sure showed them. Imagine the hot modeling campaigns that could have begun from Harry Potter-themed photoshoots with Voldemort and Hermione and Butter Beer ice cream. Think of all of the ice cream modeling deals!
Megan Fox was a 13-year-old model and won awards at the 1999 American Modeling and Talent Convention in Hilton Head, South Carolina. People know her best as the beauty from the Transformers movies. It can be said that she “transformed” herself into a superstar with those stellar looks and acting skills. It would be even more interesting to see if she makes an appearance as a female ninja turtle in that new movie that she is reported to be in later.
Cara Delevingne has a name where there are a lot of silent letters. Her wikipedia page says that she is 5 feet and 9 inches tall and she is 21 years old. The model, who gets name-dropped in a Lily Allen song, modeled for Burberry and Cadbury chocolate. Those Cadbury eggs are the hidden stars here. The gooey filling and the soft chocolate shell deserve fashion shows of their own. Imagine as the models put on bunny ears and prance around wearing clothes that are barely there. That’s probably been done.
The 15-year-old Colton Haynes walked around New York and eventually met Bruce Weber for a photoshoot for Abercrombie. Somewhere during the years after that, he set his sights upon Hollywood stardom and got a role as a dude on “Teen Wolf.” This show has been around since June of 2011. For the past three years, there must have been tons of people hooked on this show. It looks like a tween sensation that is spiraling out of control and into the minds of your youth.
Oscar Winner Halle Berry was the first African-American Miss World entrant in 1986. She stormed her way onto the sets of the X-Men movie rocking that silvery wind-swept hair and then launched a production company. Her new television series is a science fiction story about an astronaut who returns home pregnant. This has “Alien vs. Predator” written all over it. It’s Alien versus Predator versus Halle Berry!

Have you ever watched an old television series or movie and wondered how the actress’ career turned out? There have been a lot of television reboots and reunions of series that I watched when I was in middle school and high school. Some of the actresses on the series were popular and had a career ahead of them. But then I thought, I haven’t seen much from them since the show ended.
From Alyssa Milano to Olivia Newton-John, Lynda Carter, and more. Here is a look at where popular actresses from the past have been up to.
I never got to experience “Grease” when it first hit theaters, but I remember watching it as a kid and absolutely falling in love. Like many young girls, I had the biggest crush on John Travolta and felt like I could relate to Sandy.
“Grease” was Newton-John’s most popular film, but she’s also known for the cult-classic hit song “Let’s Get Physical.” Over the years, she’s done a lot of actor roles, and is still singing.
The Cast Of Law & Order: Then & Now
Law and Order first graced our screens in 1990. The show’s dominance throughout the coming decade into the new millennial. The actors who have appeared on television sets of millions of homes have gone on to achieve accomplishments on and off of the program. Their achievements have earned permanent places in viewers’ memories as actors and characters who have shaped popular culture. This list aims to show where twenty-five of the actors on Law and Order have ended up from then to now.
Jesse L. Martin
Ed Green remains one of the show’s most popular characters among friends. Jesse L. Martin played the character on the show from 2002 all the way until 2008. He would quickly become one of the most popular characters on the show. His character as a detective would eventually be replicated as he currently plays a detective on the hit show, the Flash.
