It’s my face on the I.D., officer! Honest! There are many reasons for people to want to lie about their age. Getting into that hotel bar, looking older on a date, or being able to go into adult video store are some reasons. It is not perjury to lie about one’s age except where the person’s age is a fact that could incfluence the legal outcome of a case. If somebody is trying to get old age retirement benefits or trying to write a valid will when they are underage, then things could get a little tricky. Let’s see who else disregarded the date of birth on their driver’s license.
She luhs ya papi, but once she loved P. Diddy. In 1999, Jennifer Lopez was celebrating an album release at a club in New York. Diddy reportedly knocked a drink out of somebody’s hand and the man shoved Diddy. Then shots were fired and three people were injured. Combs and Lopez were arrested while fleeing the scene in a Lincoln Navigator. Lopez used to say that she was born in 1970 but it was revealed during police questioning that she was born in 1969.
A boy named Michael used to ride motorcycles and Nicki Minaj used to lie about her age. According to Jezebel, Minaj was telling people that she was born in 1984 but a police report filed in 2011 said she was actually born two years earlier in 1982. At the time of the report, she was 28. Why not just lie and pretend that you’re 21 years old so people can think you’re barely legal?
Eminem visited Howard Stern in 1999 and allegedly lied about being 24. He was actually 27. Even rappers want to seem younger than they are. He doesn’t need to worry. He has fellow rappers backing him up. “I feel like I’m Eminem. You don’t think ‘white rapper.’ You just think Eminem,” said Kanye West in a Complex interview. Yeezy wants to be a respected designer just like how Eminem is a respected rapper.
Karlie Redd was on the show “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” when she was telling everyone she was in her 20s. K. Michelle joked that Redd marched with Martin Luther King in the 60s. Redd’s excuse for dodging questions about her daughter to protect her. Sources found out that Redd was formerly in a reality show called “Scream Queens” where she claimed to be 29 years old. “Don’t listen to K. Michelle,” said Redd.
Whoopi Goldberg wanted to act when she was younger but nobody wanted to hire her because of her age. “Everyone said I was too young,” said Goldberg. She is still on “The View” and is now the face of an app called Nobituary. The app lets people create a fake obituary for a loved one who smokes so that they might be compelled to stop. “It might help save people and encourage folks maybe not to smoke,” said Goldberg.
Gabrielle Carteris desperately needed to play the character of Andrea Zuckerman on “Beverly Hills, 90210” so she lied about her age of 29 years. The casting directors were fooled! Carteris spoke to a lawyer who told her that she could lie and play the part as long as the said she was over 21. Then a magazine interviewed the show and asked her agent about her age and she deflected the question. “They found it in the DMV, illegally,” said Carteris. Those darn workers at the DMV!
Nicole Scherzinger lied and said she was 28 in 2008 when she was actually 30. She allegedly confessed to lying in a Blender magazine interview and that wasn’t the only thing uncovered. She said that she thought the Pussycat Dolls were not naughty or raunchy and that she liked Ryan Gosling. “You get these crushes on guys, and then you meet them and you realize you just loved the role they were playing,” said Scherzinger.
All the single ladies put your hands up and present your proper documents because Beyonce was allegedly caught in a lie about her age. The Frisky reported that she claimed to be born in 1981 but then someone from the Texas Department of Health faxed her birth records to a gossip blog. It was revealed she was actually born in 1974. This story does sound almost as fake as the story of her hating on Kim Kardashian.
Sandra Bullock doesn’t need any love potions to make men fall for her, but she wanted a role in a 1992 movie called “Love Potion #9.” Bullock said, “I go there and I say I’m 29. After a while, you have no idea how old you are because you’ve lied so many times. I always said I would never lie, but one time, when I didn’t it worked against me. So I figure you just keep them guessing.”
It’s getting hot in Nelly’s house so don’t nominate him for an under 25 list. He wasn’t a teen and he wasn’t under 25 years old. Nelly was named one of Teen People’s Hottest Stars Under 25 in 2003 but he was actually 28! Lucky guy looks so young. Nelly has a reality show about his family out called “Nellyville.” He is dating Shantel Jackson and told “The Real” hosts that he might be proposing soon. Hey, must be the money!
Jessica Chastain was in “Zero Dark Thirty” and also listed her age as 30 in 2012. At the time, other sources listed her as older. “I will never say my age because I’m an actress and I want to play different ages. The one thing I’ve always worried about is that, for me, acting makes me feel connected with society, a part of something bigger than I am; a part of mankind,” said Chastain.
Spice Girls fans, rejoice! There were leaks of four previously unreleased Spice Girls songs and Spice Girls are still as relevant as ever. Back when they were in their height of popularity, one of the girls claimed to be younger than she was. Geri “Ginger Spice” Halliwell was 25 years old when she claimed to be 21 at the time of their first album. She celebrated her 29th birthday multiple times until Posh was like hold up, what?
She bagged Ashton Kutcher in the end so maybe it was all worth it in the end. Mila Kunis was 14 years old and told the producers of “That 70s Show” that she was turning 18. Her fiance Ashton Kutcher was at a Lenovo Tech My Way Conference and took the opportunity to brag about sleeping with Mila. “Last week, I was walking with Mila Kunis, who’s my fiancee. I get to have sex with her. It’s amazing!” said Kutcher.
James Blunt sang “You’re beautiful, it’s true” to a bunch of women and now we get to say “You’re lying” to him. Allegedly, Blunt and his record label claimed that he was 33 years old when he was actually 36. Blunt has been in a public feud with a culture minister named Chris Bryant who criticized Blunt’s background. Blunt was educated at Harrow and said he had to work as hard as anyone in the music industry.
Three years isn’t that bad. It’s long enough for things to change but short enough to not be a big deal. Housewives need to defend their reputation as well. Jackie Gillies from “The Real Housewives of Melbourne” said, “my god I’m not 50, I’m 30.” However, a representative from Foxtel’s Arena Channel said that Gillies is actually 33. Her husband is Ben Gillies, the drummer of an Australian rock band named Silverchair that went on hiatus in 2011. Jackie supposedly works as a professional psychic.

I never got to experience “Grease” when it first hit theaters, but I remember watching it as a kid and absolutely falling in love. Like many young girls, I had the biggest crush on John Travolta and felt like I could relate to Sandy.
“Grease” was Newton-John’s most popular film, but she’s also known for the cult-classic hit song “Let’s Get Physical.” Over the years, she’s done a lot of actor roles, and is still singing.
