21 Celebrity Images We Know Were Photoshopped
It’s just one of many skills used by graphic designers all over the magazine industry to use Photoshop. You would be surprised to see some of your favorite celebs with no Photoshop gradients plastered to their images. There’s the crop tool, the smudge tool, and don’t forget about the nifty masking feature to make wicked backgrounds appear in the background. Remember when Reese Witherspoon said, “Any Cosmo girl would have known” in the movie “Legally Blonde?” She was referring to hair care, but she should have been mentioning the use of Photoshop as well. Soon, Witherspoon could be saying, “Any Photoshop girl would have known.” These are the images we know were Photoshopped.
Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush is related to former president George Bush. He is also a victim of bad Photoshop. According to Time, there was a mailer to Iowa voters that was tweeted by “Right to Rise USA.” It’s supposed to show Bush standing in front of a bridge. The left hand in his picture is clearly not his. A guy named Zeke Miller tweeted this blurry pic and its blurriness was shown for all to see on Time.com.
Fans of the movie “Mean Girls” will always remember Amanda Seyfried and her breasts that she said could predict weather. Then there is the case of Lindsay Lohan who resorted to using Photoshop. Dailymail reported people criticizing Lohan on Twitter after she posted a pic of her “waist trainer.” People said things like “the photoshopping is hilarious” and “photoshop is hard.” The secret is the curved bottom of the stairs!
Metro reported that Star Magazine photoshopped Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to make it look as if they were together but they were not. They have some nerve! They do look relatively happy though. In an Extra TV interview, George Clooney recently said about the couple, “The funny thing is the first time I ever heard of that was literally as I was walking in today, somebody said, ‘Did you hear that Brad and Angelina are moving?’ and then I was like, ‘I don’t think that’s probably accurate, that’s probably a rumor.'” Dish it out, Clooney!
For the movie “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix,” Emma Watson’s body was Photoshopped, according to Can Mag, and it was just sad. Harry Potter would not be pleased! Radio Times reported that Watson recently finished up her role as Belle in “Beauty and the Beast” and 15 years ago she was cast as Hermione. Maybe Belle will be saying to Beast, “You’re going to get us killed, or worse, expelled!”
People reported that Men’s Fitness did a bad job of altering Andy Roddick’s image and he also commented about it. “Little did I know I have 22-inch guns and a disappearing birthmark on my right arm. I saw the cover for the first time when I landed in Rome. It was pretty funny. Maybe Rafael Nadal wants his arms back? Representatives from the magazine then said they enhanced his arms and did not put his head on a different body.
Adam Levine posed for Russian Vogue with his girl Anne V. and they digitally cut out his torso to make him seem super skinny. He was already skinny enough and the guy shouldn’t need to tone down any more. This ain’t skinny-shaming, since you can literally see his ribcage poking out underneath it all. That’s a tiny torso. On the viral internet, there is also a little girl devastated to find out Levine is married, so you can just Google that to your heart’s content.
Kate Winslet probably felt like queen of the world after the movie “Titanic,” but Photoshoppers were not treating her with royalty and respect after they upset her. GQ magazine did the dirty deed for a 2003 cover and Winslet saw her legs shrink in size. “I actually have a Polaroid that the photographer gave me on the day of the shoot. I can tell you they’ve reduced the size of my legs by about a third,” said Winslet.
Ashley Benson from “Pretty Little Liars” did not like a picture of the cast that she saw online, according to Cosmopolitan. “Our faces on this were from 4 years ago… and we all look ridiculous. Way too much photoshop. We all have flaws. No one looks like this. It’s not attractive. Remember, you are all beautiful. Please don’t ever try and look like the people you see in magazines or posters because it’s fake,” said Benson to her fans.
In her song called “So Happy I Could Die,” Lady Gaga says “I do my hair. I gloss my eyes.” Nowhere in that song does she say, “I Photoshop myself.” Take note of the word of Gaga, people who are not Little Monsters! The Huffington Post reported that Gaga said of a Glamour cover, “I felt my skin looked too perfect. I felt my hair looked too soft. I do not look like this when I wake up in the morning.”
It’s been a while since we’ve heard about KStew but Kristen Stewart was also a victim of badly done Photoshop. Hollywood Reporter saw that her lower arm is missing. Let’s see what else is on this cover. There’s the one minute makeover tricks, instant tweaks for your clothes, hair and overall fabulousness. Then Bella spills secrets about the boys and what is next for her. Wonder if she found out about Robert Pattinson and his new girlfriend who is known as FKA Twigs after that.
Maybe the Russian magazine called Joy just wanted to see a different shade of Beyonce. That is just wrong. Beyonce is perfect the way she is and nobody should try to change her. The songstress was recently seen by Daily Mail going on a date with Jay Z. They went to the Meatpacking district in New York to eat at the restaurant Del Posto. She had on skintight leather trousers with bell bottoms that were sure to attract a lot of attention.
You can see the color was altered. If there is somebody that knows about Photoshop, it is probably the assistant of Kim Kardashian. E! Online reported a rumor that the Kanye West lover paid $100,000 a year for someone to digitally enhance her photos. That would make a lot of people question their day job and career choice. Why sweat at a physically demanding position when you can help the selfie queen herself? Representatives of the famous Kardashian did say the rumor was false.
Maybe if a certain celebrity would admit to the Photoshop job that was done to their Calvin Klein ad, then people would have been nicer. Defamer reported that editing software “blessed the lil’ skater boy with a brand new penis as well as body hair. In addition to enlarging his bulge, it appears Calvin Klein pumped up Bieby’s pecs, biceps, and quads.” Bieber then released a video to say, “It’s not Photoshopped for all you fools out there saying it’s Photoshopped.”
Mariah Carey did not appear on the ocean with letters physically floating by her sides in real life, so you know somebody went on a computer and did some Photoshopping here. The National Enquirer reported that Carey is being dissed by the one and only Christina Aguilera who said, “I won a Grammy this year! Why would I go to Vegas and join Britney and Mariah in an oldies act? I don’t have to spend three nights a week reliving the past.”
Demi Moore was in “Charlie’s Angels” and then she was in a 2009 W Magazine cover that had a part of her hip missing, according to Complex. Did you know that Moore is a friend of Gwen Stefani’s? When did they start hanging out? Actually, it wouldn’t be too strange to imagine Moore considering putting out a pop album with Gwen Stefani to help her music career. If Gwyneth Paltrow thinks she can sing, then so can Moore.
The Huffington Post stated that Jennifer Lawrence appeared slimmed down with sunken cheekbones on a Flare magazine cover. Lawrence said, “You look how you look, you have to be comfortable. What are you going to do? Be hungry every single day to make other people happy? That’s just dumb.” AZ Central is also reporting that Lawrence felt emotional at the end of “The Hunger Games” filming. Hang in there, Jennifer!
ET Online reported that this magazine darkened the makeup of Kate Middleton and added a sparkle effect to her diamond earring. Is nothing sacred? Even the royals in Britain can’t escape the power of Photoshop. The worst rumors are the ones saying Kate is going to divorce Prince William! However, the Movie News Guide states that the couple has been out and about together and will attend an event at London’s Harrow College later.
Keira Knightley was all over the internet when she promoted for the movie “King Arthur.” Check out this U.S. poster that is different from the British posters in so many ways. The Daily Mail reported that Knightley said, “Those things certainly weren’t mine. We had an interesting discussion when they said, ‘We want to make them slightly larger and you’ll get approval,’ and I was like, ‘OK, fine.'” She’s just going with the flow!
Why do her breasts look different in these two pics? Kate Upton made the news recently when she talked about Chicago Cubs owner Tom Ricketts. According to Fox Sports, she said, “It was my birthday, and he had probably like his worst game ever, and no one had any idea how he’s respond to his worst game ever. He vented to me in the car and was like, ‘I am going to get blackout drunk.'”
Jezebel called this image of Avril Lavigne “sloppy photoshop curves.” They mentioned that her torso is not curvy enough and they scooped out vital organs to create a tiny waist. As the Canadian singer would croon, “Why’d you have to go and make things so complicated?” Do you think she’ll come out with a Photoshop song and say, “Why’d you have to go and make things so Photoshopped. I see the way you’re Photoshopping me so just stop?”
Britney Spears wants you to hit her one more time metaphorically in the song, “Baby One More Time.” How many graphic designers would jump at the chance to Photoshop Spears one more time? Spears is currently hanging out with Kate Hudson and maybe they’ll swap stories about “love ferns” and ex-husbands. “That moment when @britneyspears shows up to your game night and you’re all like #it’sbritney,” said Hudson on her Instagram.
Kourtney Kardashian had baby weight in the left picture but you wouldn’t know it in the second picture. That is the power of computers and digital enhancements or digital destruction. Daily Mail said that Kourtney wanted to lose 14 “stubborn pounds” after her recent baby. She posted a workout photo to say, “It’s Monday! I’m 5 feet tall, so everyone relax I’m on a workout kick, trying to bring some Monday motivation.”
